Trado ("we", "us") operates a marketplace that connects contractors and subcontractors. This policy explains how we handle your personal data.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone, role (contractor or subcontractor), password (hashed).
  • Profile data: company name, trade, bio, day rate, qualifications, avatar, location.
  • Content: job listings, applications, messages, reviews.
  • Technical data: IP address, device, browser, basic usage logs.

3. How we use your data

  • To operate the marketplace — matching workers to jobs, delivering messages, showing profiles.
  • To authenticate you and secure your account.
  • To send notifications you have opted in to.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of contract (providing the Service to you), legitimate interest (keeping the platform safe and useful) and consent (where required, e.g. marketing emails).

5. Sharing

Your public profile (name, trade, ratings, location city) is visible to other authenticated users. We share data with infrastructure providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, authentication, database, email delivery). We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data. You can update your profile in Settings, or contact us to make a request.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls and industry-standard authentication to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
